Established in 1969 as a playgroup for children with disabilities, today, the Peter Pan Centre is devoted to life-changing care and education for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
As a registered charity we are governed by a Board of Trustees, including a Parent Trustee who works with us to ensure that the voice of our parents is reflected in what we do. Our Early Years team is hugely experienced in supporting children with SEND, with some qualified to degree level, and others with specialist training. Follow these links to:

The Peter Pan Centre is a purpose-built building, is all on one-level and is fully accessible. Our specialist equipment/resources include:
- Two playrooms
- A sensory room with an interactive floor projector
- An outside play area and a sensory garden
- A hoist throughout
- A range of specialist equipment including walking frames, standing frames and seating
- Parents room
- Changing bed
