Get ready to run and sparkle as our fundraising calendar is filling up fast!

There are just a few more events to get involved in as we approach the last quarter of 2026!

Lace up your trainers for the iconic Potters ’Arf on Sunday 4th October and run in aid of Peter Pan, cheer from the sidelines, or join the Peter Pan volunteers who are vital in making the event run smoothly.

Our Christmas Raffle tickets will go on sale soon so if you can donate a prize or know a company who may be able to offer a gift of some kind then we'd love to hear from you.

And we’re finishing the year in style with our Christmas Jumper Day on Thursday 10th December. So dig out your festive finest and make it count!

However you choose to get involved, you’ll be helping us support local children and families when it matters most. Email Claire at clairea@thepeterpancentre.co.uk for more information, to purchase tickets or get registered.

A Lovely Day at Peak Wildlife Park!

A Lovely Day at Peak Wildlife Park!

We had a fantastic trip to Peak Wildlife with our children and their families over the summer! Despite the weather being a little wet at times, it certainly didn’t dampen our spirits. It was wonderful to see everyone enjoying the day, exploring the park, and making special memories together. The children had a brilliant time meeting the animals and sharing the experience with their families – lots of smiles all around!
A big thank you to Peak Wildlife Park for such a lovely day, and a special thank you to Stantons of Stoke for helping us get there safely and comfortably
We are so grateful for opportunities like this that bring our families together – rain or shine! 💙
Celebrating our Achievements

Celebrating our Achievements

We held our 3rd annual Champions Club event last Thursday...

And what a wonderful evening catching up with our amazing supporters to say a huge thank you as well as share what the charity achieved over the last academic year.

Just a few of our proudest accomplishments include:

  1. The launch of our Little Adventurers group and provision of 6,840 hours of education, care and support.
  2. Renaming our afternoon sessions Little Explorers and providing 3,800 hours to up to 40 children each week!
  3. Completing our outdoor classroom.
  4. Over 100 SEND Stay and Play sessions and community meet ups for families.
  5. New themed Holiday clubs including party week, spa days and a specialist group for children with low mobility.
  6. Continuation of family support and advocacy - EHCNAs, EHCPs, DLAs, viewing other settings, supporting school transitions and support in the home.
  7. Expansion of volunteering team to include two new parent volunteers and fundraising/marketing support.
  8. New qualifications and accreditations for staff.
  9. Community Project of the Year LoveNUL Business Awards winner and Special Commendation at Alice Charity Hands of Hope Awards.
  10. Advocated for our children and families locally with MPs and local authorities as well as nationally by hosting the Minister of State for Schools.

We put children with SEND at the heart of all we do. But none of these achievements happen in isolation - we couldn't do it without our supporters so THANK YOU!
