Magic, princesses and gifts galore are just a few of the attractions at our Christmas Fair, which is being held on Saturday, December 3.
Our staff and supporters will be hosting the event at our centre in Hoon Avenue from 11am until 2pm.
As well as a chance to visit Santa’s grotto, youngsters can also meet and have their photos taken with In the Night Garden characters, Iggle Piggle and Upsy Daisy, as well as Mickey Mouse and the Disney princesses.
There will be also be magic and balloon modelling by entertainer Dicky Bow, and stacks of games, crafts and activities for youngsters to get involved in, with stalls and a range of gifts for older visitors to browse too.
Chrissie, our fundraising manager, said the fair is always one of the highlights of the year for our staff, and thanked everyone for their generosity in helping so far.
“People give so much of their time and effort to help make the fair a fantastic success each year, and we cannot thank them enough,” she said.
“We are collecting bottles for our tombola at the moment – which can be anything from toiletries to alcohol – so any donations would be gratefully received.
“Watching our children enjoy this event is one of the highlights of our year, and we’d be delighted to welcome visitors who have never been to our centre before. This is an event for the whole community and we look forward to seeing lots of new faces here, helping support our charity.”
Could anyone wishing to donate anything to the bottle tombola at the fair please bring it along to the centre by Friday, December 2.
